Junior Demand Planner

At marlies|dekkers, we are looking for an enthusiastic Junior Demand Planner to support our experienced Demand Planner in creating forecasts and analyses. You’ll be the one ensuring our reports are perfectly accurate and the data is spot-on – from sales figures to inventory levels. Thanks to your structured way of working and keen eye for detail, we can make the right decisions as a team every day.

In this role, you’ll be the key player when it comes to gathering, processing, and checking data. You’ll make sure that all reports are up-to-date, clear, and reliable. Think of sales reports, inventory analyses, and forecasting overviews. You’ll work with large datasets in Excel every day, pivot tables will be a breeze, and you’ll immediately spot anything out of the ordinary.

Together with the Demand Planner, you’ll help prepare purchasing and planning decisions. You’ll provide the right input and, along the way, learn how customer behavior, trends, and seasonal effects are translated into smart inventory choices. You’ll also help create dashboards and presentations that we use in meetings and decision-making.

You’ll work closely with colleagues from Buying, Sales, E-Commerce, Supply Chain, and Retail. This collaboration will give you a unique insight into the entire chain – from forecast to customer. You’ll actively think along about how we can make our processes smarter and more efficient, and your fresh perspective will truly be valued.

What you’ll bring

• You have a bachelor’s degree (or are close to finishing), preferably in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Commercial Economics, or a related field.

• You have a love for numbers and structure – Excel holds no mysteries for you, and you know how to use it to your advantage.

• You’re comfortable working with large amounts of data and know how to translate it into clear and concise overviews.

• You’re precise, structured, and take satisfaction in getting every detail just right.

• You can easily switch between tasks and stay calm in a dynamic work environment.

• You communicate clearly, both in Dutch and in English.

• Experience with ERP systems or tools like Power BI is a plus, but definitely not required.
